PART 7:

We approached the front door and rang the doorbell. A few seconds later a couple came to answer it.

“Why, hello there. You must be Liam’s friend.” The lady said. “I’m Amie and this is my husband, Collin.”

“Very nice to meet you.” My dad said.

“I’m Effy, and this is my father, Jack.” I said with an awkward smile. She invited us in and right then my father and Collin were already talking away. Their conversation must’ve been very interesting since they were so into it but I wasn’t paying a small bit of attention to them. I looked around and saw many women with fancy dresses and men wearing all types of tuxedos. They seemed to all be laughing and having a good time. “

“Liam’s upstairs.” Amie said smiling. “You should go say hello.” I nodded and smiled back before walking up the steps to Liam’s room. When I got to his door I could hear him playing something on the guitar. After noticing I was at the door he stopped playing and put down the guitar.

“Oh, hi Eff.” He said with a half smile.

“Why’d you stop playing?” I asked.

“Oh, that? That was nothing.. really.”

“Oh, come on, let me hear it please.” I replied.

“Errm.. if you insist.” I could tell he was really nervous. He picked up the guitar and started playing..

I felt tears start to form in my eyes. My heart was beating fast and I felt dizzy, did he really just sing those words to me? What did he mean? He leaned closer to me as I did everything to hold my tears back. He got closer and closer to my lips. I didn’t know what to do..
